Seniors – Socially Connected Physical Activity: What, Why and How?
Dear friends,
During his homily this past Sunday, Cardinal Collins described ShareLife succinctly:
“Practical service. Nitty-gritty. Down to earth. Where the rubber hits the road. It’s just who we are.”
He’s right. The agencies you fund through your gift to ShareLife don’t often talk about their good works. They just do them.
That’s why we’ve encouraged our agencies to send us simple, short videos highlighting the remarkable ways they’ve adapted their programs to the pandemic. From people living with mental illness to those recovering from addiction, your donation is reaching a diverse range of vulnerable people during this perilous time.
Please take one minute to learn about the heroic work of LA Centre for Active Living by watching the video above. Thanks to your support of ShareLife, they are helping deliver 3,000 meals weekly to seniors in need.

COVID-19 symptoms include fever, cough and difficulty breathing. See below for guidelines on how to self-monitor for COVID-19.
If you have symptoms of COVID-19 and your symptoms are mild, we ask that you call Telehealth (1-866-553-7205) or Toronto Public Health (416-338-7600) for advice and stay at home to self isolate for 14 days.
If your symptoms are very severe or you are having difficulty breathing you should to to the emergency room for assessment. Do not call 911 or go to the emergency room unless it is an emergency.
Testing for COVID-19 will be done at Assessment Centres. If you would like more information on COVID-19, or the Assessment Centres please visit:

SOCIAL DISTANCING
One of the important ways we can keep ourselves health and protect others during this time is to practise social distancing.
